According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE! Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security 🤣🤣

I like to share my political views every four years with a slight modification and nod to Taleb. At the federal level I am libertarian; state level I am Republican; local level I am Democrat; family and friends level I am a socialist; and at home I am a communist.

Once the engines are sufficiently chilled, the start sequence ignites the methane and oxygen in the pre-burners, the turbo-pumps pressurize and feed the chilled propellants into the combustion chamber. The engines are then ignited and then lift off! Enjoy!!

SpaceX will prechill all of the engine hardware so that the sudden exposure to those cryogenic temps does not damage all of the components.

The Raptor engines are powered by liquid methane and liquid oxygen which require extremely low temperatures to remain in liquid form. Liquid Methane: −161°C (−258°F). Liquid Oxygen: −183°C (−297°F).

Today, they will land Super Heavy in the Indian Ocean but will attempt the catch of Starship with Mechazilla. Mechazilla has two hydraulic chopstick arms which will catch Starship and later help integrate Starship on the Super Heavy for quick turnaround.. this is nuts!!

Mechazilla is the robotic tower SpaceX has build to "catch" Super Heavy and Starship once they return. The arms of Mechazilla catch them around its grid fins eliminating the need for landing legs - improving reusability and saving weight - enabling another launch within hours

Starship itself is powered by 6 raptor engines with 3 of them optimized for sea level and 3 optimized for the vacuum of space.

Starship's first stage is powered by Super Heavy which has 33 raptor engines which are fueled by methalox (liquid methane and liquid oxygen) which was chosen because this fuel can be produced on Mars using water and carbon dioxide

SpaceX will be attempting to launch the largest and most powerful flying object ever built and then catch it on it's return with chopsticks. Literally the wildest feat in aerospace that has ever been attempted. Watch over at @SpaceX Some quick stats:
