Storyboarding is casting. Just like acting. If a show doesn't pick you, it's not necessarily that your boards or test are bad - sometimes its just not the right fit. And that's ok. That just means there's a better show out there that's a more appropriate fit for you!

So often students ask how “clean” a storyboard needs to be - and I think this is an excellent example comparing a personal illustration vs drawing for a storyboard!
(And obviously your mileage will vary depending on the show & studio!)
That storyboard life, huh? The left is pretty, but the right is enough information to convey the same thing. It’s efficiency.

They’re small teams & often not invited to be part of anything. Usually they don’t even get credit on your shows, even if they help you out a lot.

Mochi and her owner were attacked by two dogs running loose while on their morning walk. An injured Mochi fled the scene and was brought stray to Pasadena Humane. We provided emergency veterinary care and she is now reunited with her owners. Full story:
