I was texting back/forth with D1 coach this am and it really bothers me that media is all about individual performances and not team success. I'm realizing that I've become a fossil as my belief is that team success will lead to individual recognition!!

Players please understand the difference in well organized, structured, competent officiating, shot clock and regulation stop clock games as these qualities lend to better evaluation for you. Mullen’s spends a lot of money on these factors and will not host a “meat market”.

A parent asked me how can I tell her son that he is not D1, and kill his dreams. I asked does he have any offers yet? She said no. I said I’m not the one telling him he is not D1, the 350 D1’s that haven’t offered are telling him he isn’t D1. You should listen to them.

Smart man! I’ve been doing a junior college scouting service for 30 years and I’ve never tried to rank players as it’s impossible. Just try to project their level of play and style of play so they fit with their next school.
Every time I see a ranking I think about doing one..then I realize you can never get rankings right. Somebody is ALWAYS going to be upset about them. I’m just going to continue leaving the rankings to the “experts.”
