Abort just works on v5! Happy I migrated. What’s most fun is seeing ways to use the SDK that’s undocumented bc the beta. Always up for a challenge!.
Save partial results and handle cleanup properly when a UIMessageStream is aborted.

AI SDK v5 users. You have two ways to return streams createUIMessageStream (advanced) and toUIMessageStreamResponse. You cannot await the execute function in createUIMessageStream. So you can use an manual iteration instead!

Got Kimi K2 up and running. Designs are very similar to Claude Sonnet 4. Experiencing latency and not all tool calls are showing in the UI maybe it’s bc my V5 hack to get the model working. Used Vercel Gateway, Baseten, and moonshot api directly. Model looks promising tho!.
