Good to see a change in policy from the Scottish Government. We have to recognise the perils of our time, accept that defence spending is increasing, and we have to make sure that Scotland gets a fair share. We have to support the sector as a lever for economic growth.
NEW: John Swinney says the SNP Government will end its much-criticised ban on taxpayer support for any defence firm it deems to be involved in the production of munitions.
