Every week, the Men in Blue keep 115 miles of NYC streets clean and safe. As the first step in the Ready, Willing & Able program, this transitional work experience paves the way to full-time employment, permanent housing, and lasting sobriety for participants.

The Men in Blue are hard at work on their spring projects, ensuring their community stays vibrant with fresh coats of paint. They take pride in partnering with @ColumbusAveBID and in their efforts to maintain a safe and clean NYC.

Our Ready, Willing & Able @EastMidtownNYC team is dedicated to ensuring their city is safe and clean. This transitional work experience not only equips them with vital workplace skills but also showcases the significant impact they can make within their community.

Ramon overcame a tumultuous past marked by substance abuse and homelessness. Today, he credits much of his success to the support he receives living at one of our permanent affordable and supportive housing residences, Webster Green.

Recently, one of The Doe Fund’s supporters began a new kind of volunteer initiative: art classes in one of our supportive housing residences! These events foster a sense of community, provide residents with a creative outlet, and encourage socialization.
