Our campaign was featured in @NewYorker, which highlights that amongst the difficulties and challenges at the British Museum, the prospect of the Parthenon Sculptures making a return to Athens “seems likelier than it has for two hundred years”.
The British Museum’s acquisition of the Elgin Marbles—which were removed from the Parthenon under the oversight of a Scottish nobleman two centuries ago—was controversial from the start. Greece has been demanding them back since the 1800s. Could it happen?
