Two decades ago, It was nuts to put $42 million into a revamp of the old Milwaukee Auditorium (now High Life Theatre). It's pretty much been an under used white elephant ever since. It's hard to believe there's not a better use for that property.

Something everybody should be able to agree on. Spreading unfounded "rumors" like this is not helpful ... to anybody.

This shooting must be investigated and maybe a strategy change is in order BUT when people put themselves in the middle of law enforcement actions (blocking cars, physically confronting agents), there is always a high potential for bad things to happen.

I don't think these tweaks to the pursuit policy will be overly restrictive. That said, with all the reckless drivring in the City (police chases or not), people need to understand they put their lives at risk every time they get behind the wheel.

I know this doesn't fit with the media narrative on Minnesota but here goes: Today I was with some people from Minneapolis who were appalled not by ICE but by the behavior of many of the protesters and the rampant fraud committed in the Somali community.

Why is this newsworthy? It used to be that the media didn't name people accused of criminal behavior unless and until charges were issued. Now we apparently report accusations even though the subject was cleared. What a shameful lack of standards.

I finally got around to seeing the new film "Song Sung Blue" at the theater. It takes some liberties with the story as presented in the documentary but is still a great film. Well worth checking out.
