➡️ We have strengthened the French team: five more expatriates at the embassy and the opening of AFD and France Volontaires offices. 🙏 Thank you to all those who make this possible every day. And now? We continue the work, with the same energy and team spirit.

➡️ We have intensified defense and security cooperation: more port calls, joint maritime patrols, exercises, training, and the participation of our forces in Vanuatu's National Day celebrations.

➡️ developed trilateral cooperation with Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, because we are stronger with our friends ➡️ supported the French-speaking world, culture, sports, education, youth, and research, working closely with communities

➡️ launched structural projects (smart submarine cable, hospitals, university, solar energy) ➡️ but also increased the number of micro-projects with immediate impact for communities in all provinces of the country, even in the most remote areas

🎂 Three years in Vanuatu! Still an intense experience. Since Nov 17, 2022, we have: ➡️ strengthened political dialogue (2 ministerial visits, 1 presidential visit to Vanuatu, the PM received at the Élysée) ➡️ managed 4 crises, including an earthquake that destroyed the embassy

➡️ renforcé l’équipe France : +5 expatriés à l’ambassade et ouverture des bureaux AFD et France Volontaires. 🙏 Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui rendent cela possible chaque jour. Et maintenant ? On poursuit le travail, avec la même énergie et le même esprit d’équipe.

➡️ intensifié la coopération défense / sécurité : davantage d’escales, de patrouilles maritimes conjointes, d’exercices, de formations, et la participation de nos forces à la fête nationale vanuataise.

➡️ développé des coopérations trilatérales avec le Japon, la Nouvelle-Zélande et le Royaume-Uni, parce que nous sommes plus forts avec nos amis ➡️ soutenu la francophonie, la culture, le sport, l’éducation, la jeunesse et la recherche, au plus près des communautés

➡️ lancé des projets structurants (câble sous-marin smart, hôpitaux, université, énergie solaire) ➡️ mais aussi multiplié les micro-projets à impact immédiat pour les communautés, dans toutes les provinces du pays, jusque dans les régions les plus reculées

🎂 3 ans au Vanuatu ! Une expérience toujours aussi intense. Depuis le 17/11/2022, nous avons : ➡️ renforcé le dialogue politique (2 visites ministérielles et 1 visite présidentielle au Vanuatu, le PM reçu à l’Élysée) ➡️ géré 4 crises, dont un séisme qui a détruit l’ambassade
