For that reason, I always wanted to do a cover and in 2016/2017 I finally did "Chariots of Violence", a cover of Chariots of Fire with my own twists and oddly enough, no synthesizers. I cut a little vacation video from Hawaii to go along with it.

Tracks like Pulstar and Albedo 0.39, but also some weird deep cuts like when I wrote a piece in University that gave a musical reference to The Friends of Mr Cairo - even my Greek composition teacher was surprised when I mentioned that there was a Vangelis musical quote.

Vangelis' passing is a sad one for anyone who has been fascinated with synthetic sounds. I had a copy of his greatest hits when I was growing up and I still constantly find myself referencing his work.

I had pressed vinyl, had tons of press and was doing something very exciting that I hadn't ever done before. When we drove home mid-March it was hard not to feel defeated. But out of that "loss" there will be something new, mark my words.
