Delighted to announce that I have been awarded a place on Literature Wales' Writer development programme. I'm so excited to be working with such a talented group of writers and hugely grateful to Literature Wales for seeing potential in me and my work.
Jess Doyle lives in Mold, and writes horror and fantasy fiction. @jcdoyley is interested in writing for young adults and is working on a graphic novel. She is Chair of the writing group Caffi Isa Writers which focuses on nurturing and encouraging writers with diverse needs.

I'm 42 today. That means I have spent two full years in the suffocating grip of existential dread. Teetering, precariously at the very edge of the abyss like a drunkard on a tightrope. Kind of looking forward to cake though.
