Carson plans to retire Owen White’s No. 4 baseball jersey before start of varsity boys basketball 🏀 game on Dec. 12. White was the Gatorade NC Player of the Year and the first Cougar to reach the highest level of his sport. White won’t be allowed to play in basketball game.

Hayden Simmerson (@H_Simms21) could be a big addition for @ClemsonBaseball following the losses of Reed Garris and Lucas Mahlstedt. An ABCA/Rawlings D2 first-team All-American, Simmerson logged 16 saves as a sophomore with 73 strikeouts in 64 innings (31 appearances) at Catawba.

Great talking to Carson and Rowan Legion pitcher Kendal Sifford today about Catawba commit. Story soon. He’s 6-3, 180 now but looks really slim and doesn’t gain weight easily. He said he’s making himself pick up a fork more often. He’ll be pitching for Cougars in fall league.
