When we visit the Sacred Valley of Peru, we stop in a small village high in the mountains to meet and photograph the local people. It is always a favorite of my photo tour guests. Check out today's blog post:

Going to visit Machu Picchu is a once in a lifetime trip for most people, so it was a real treat to visit there for the second time in as many years. That also means that I needed to try & capture the area differently. Check out the photos on the blog:

Believe it or not, the Water Iguanas in Galapagos will "sneeze" to expel excess salt. Capturing this is not easy, but made MUCH easier with the new Canon Pre-Capture mode!. (Canon R5 MKII, RF 100-500mm lens, ISO 640, f/7.1, 1/400 sec)

During my photography tour in the Galapagos, there are numerous opportunities to go snorkeling. The marine life here is incredibly stunning!

The Galapagos has some amazing endemic birds including the much sought after Blue-footed booby. We have seen many of them, and captured them on the rocks and in flight. More photos to come on the blog soon.

I was with my guests, heading back from Machu Picchu on the train, when I saw this opportunity to teach some slow shutter photography. We all had a blast capturing something unique and special. I took this at 1/5 sec with the Canon R5 Mark II and RF 24-105mm lens at 24mm.

To see Machu Picchu once in a lifetime is amazing. To see it twice in two years is even better! We had great weather on our first day at the ruins and everyone loved it!
