The Gothic trappings of Wake Up, Dead Man made Rian Johnson abandon Sondheim when Sweeney Todd was right there. This theatre kid was still satisfied. There are two Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber needle drops that had me levitating out of my seat. Praise be.
