I am looking for a full-time job. Being independent in open source for 3.5+ years has been wonderful. I've gotten done most of the high-level goals I wanted to, and miss having people & structure around me. If you know of a staff TypeScript+web developer role, let me know! 🙂

What flags should i pass to `next build --turbopack` to get a trace? Asking because compile times are 16s and build times are 2mins. This is likely the result of slow db queries, which would be an easy fix if visualized.

> With Codemaps, we are now exposing to humans some of the indexing and analysis we do inside of our coding agents The first line of the conclusion should have been the first line of the blog post. This symmetry between agents + humans is powerful. https://t.co/9KhxNigyxh

Can i set Vercel System Bypass Rules globally or in a per-project vercel.json? We have lots of small projects and it'd be nice if they all shared the same rules. https://t.co/yaw64tEaRY

We’re organizing https://t.co/0PsOl6Qt5z — a “conf” in loving memory of Mikeal. To contribute, please buy a ticket to join our fundraiser in SF, or make a donation. I’ll be auctioning off G coding classes to highest bidder 😁 Proceeds go to his family & 2 children, Kora & Kai.

RIP Mikeal Rogers One of the earliest contributors to Node.js and overall great human being. He was a huge enabler of my work in https://t.co/KQPuGDuMKl and later became an advisor to @vercel. Always ahead of his time. Taken too young. https://t.co/bh5lX5uxlp

love is attention: the transformer taught us something profound: attention is all you need. but maybe we knew this all along, just in a different language. when an LLM processes text, it doesn't read sequentially like we intuitively think. it attends – it looks at every token

Today we’re introducing GDPval, a new evaluation that measures AI on real-world, economically valuable tasks. Evals ground progress in evidence instead of speculation and help track how AI improves at the kind of work that matters most. https://t.co/uKPPDldVNS

The replies in this thread are eye opening. Most folks underestimate how insanely difficult it is to work on a runtime like bun.

In addition to shipping fairly significant features, I’m also impressed by how well it handles designing new UI components like button groups and types heads.

I’m really enjoying Cursor’s background agents and web app. If it gets stuck, I can easily pull the branch down and finish it quickly. Once it catches up to the local IDE on rebasing, linting, and playwright tests it’ll be a force .
