That has to be the fastest site transaction I've ever taken part in. Email>share due diligence access>negotiation call>invoice>payment>site migrated including all assets in ~1.5 hours. Not bad speed, that.

Can I interest anyone in a vaping/nicotine website? Picked it up years ago to help a friends' business and don't have time for it these days. DR27, 16 years history, ~700 pages in an industry that has no choice but to rely on organic/affiliate (advertising isn't allowed).

My guess is, that an AI contrarian take may work quite well, as so many people will be resistant to these changes. These same people will probably feel safer working with those who go against the current.

In both B2B and B2C service businesses, trust is a huge component. So this lack of trust may well be the opportunity.

So then on the flip side, yeah, I expect we'll see a ton of AI generated content, chatbots, videos, voice recordings, etc. This will probably erode trust, at least until a new generation of people take over the business world.

I'm sure we'll still see "buy local" as a growing market.

For a while there a good example of this was Aliexpress vs Etsy. But now half of Etsy is crap from Aliexpress.

Been thinking bigger around the implications of AI lately, and I'm coming to think that this is similar to the "mass production vs bespoke" scenario. Is AI going to eat a lot of businesses? Yes. Will someone always be wanting to get a human to do it in a custom way? Yes.

#nichesite builders, are you operating in recession proof niches? If not, are you considering the impacts of said recession/supply chain issues on your affiliate conversions, leads generated and/or RPMs? (And the resulting impact on your asset value).

I love helping people, but when they want "tips" or want to know "what it's like" or ask "how do you find it" without context to actually help, responding without sounding like an a-hole is difficult.

When it comes to SEO, WordPress is an excellent CMS choice out-of-the-box. But you still need to avoid making these 20 mistakes if you want to achieve good search rankings. https://t.co/YhmlAN5tE9

Kill/sell the ones that don't make sense, and put your energy on those that DO make sense. There you go, no more hypothesising about what might/might not work.
