Soccer clubs, don't complain about there being no loyalty when you have created this problem with tryouts and not committing to players long-term Stop always looking to replace players with someone better. Fix that problem and you will have more loyalty, it's a two way street

Parents have no idea what development looks like. They pay tons of money and yell from the touch lines out of frustrations seeing their kids play. At the youngest ages the kids seem to have fun. Then, self awareness kicks in along with reality and many turn away from the sport.
@tomsan106 Too many parents just want to see their kids play “matches”! Race to play adult game! Last week, had a grassroots community coach ask me which the 5/6 y o kids should he be looking to take in on TRIALS - I said NONE of them or all of them.

Most parents don't know what development looks like. This is probably Football's biggest problem and often the reason for the stereotyped parent yelling from the sidelines. How frustrating it must be to be paying thousands of $$$ for your child to participate and not develop.
@tomsan106 Meanwhile in Australia, we have parents thinking that development only happens when you get into a club with SAP program training three times a week and do hours of private training.

All of the Football Conferences in the World, Coaches Education, focus on Elite Dev, building of more Facilities, all put together won’t impact development as much as knowledgeable Parents who prepare their Kids to enter into organized Football by teaching the the basics. #ssah
