Daevar - Amber Eyes. Atmospheric (self-described) Grunge-Doom from Cologne. Recommended by a good friend who is no longer with us, which is why I will always think of him when listening to this. Friese Forever!./6

Klonns - Heaven. New Wave of Japanese Hardcore. Brilliant stuff, translates old school stuff into the new millenium. /5

Hammerhead - Nachdenken über Deutschland. Essential statement in times like ours. Very important record. /4

The Yum Yums - Poppin‘ Up Again. It doesn't get any more poppunkish than this. Masters of their craft. Instant classic. /3

Gebretter - Trendshitter. Brilliant debut featuring members of Cologne Hardcorepunk legends Radioactive Toys and The Schöne Hubätz. /2
