Very emotional to open a box and see this! I have waited *so many years* to get to put this amazing book in people’s hands again. It’s been like having a hole in my bookseller’s heart all this time. I am going to be literally crying tears of joy with every copy I sell.

As a kid my parents were anti-comics so they never got me any. But today I opened a bday box from them & these two were on top of a stack. First appearance of the Purple Man (he was in my first comic ever, DD #154) and Wally Wood’s first issue (my favorite artist). I’m in tears.

One of the things I’ll really miss about the last few years of Twitter is getting to watch Darwyn Cooke’s widow Marsha’s hilarious ruining of babymen morons who say dumb shit about her dead husband. She smokes those clowns like Snoop Dogg smokes blunts. And it is glorious.
