I have such mixed feelings about threads like this. On one hand, I believe that there needs to be a collective cooling of hype related to the potential of psychedelic medicine (sidenote: I don't like using the word medicine for psychedelics, because it distorts the real impact.

Music is not a “treatment” for any illness. At its maximal effect, it’s a minimally helpful “coping skill.” Which means it works very temporarily, and does nothing to address “causes” of mental illness.
