We’re hitting a massive wall in the AI stack: serverless backends are choking on agents. Developers are hitting execution ceilings and resorting to network hacks just to keep their apps alive and responsive. Reliable agentic loops require persistent, long-running infrastructure

You need to hire people who are constitutionally incapable of watching something be broken without fixing it

today I tried running a 480b model on my MacBook, AMA I'll answer as quickly as this model responds to prompts, so expect a reply some time next month

OpenWorkflow v0.4.1 is live with SQLite support (via openworkflow/backend-sqlite) to make local dev much, much easier. Thanks @nathancahill! CLI coming early this week -- delaying it slightly to improve the DX before it ships (side note: look at that test coverage 🥵)

what CLI gives you the cleanest first time setup? I’m building openworkflow's cli and looking for inspiration here’s my wip:

predictions often fail because they assume everything outside the highlighted trend stays static but breakthroughs cascade and other industries push forward too example: AI will topple the power grid [...unless the grid adapts or new players like Base Power step in]

Austin needs more presence on this list. Anyone in town trying to make it happen?
For any early founders exploring accelerators, this is my latest shortlist: • @HF0Residency (SF) • @ycombinator (SF) • @southpkcommons (SF/NYC/Bangalore) • @fdotinc (SF) • @Seqoia Arc (US/EU) • @pearvc PearX (SF) • @Neo (SF) • @conviction Embed (SF) • @VillageGlobal

in an Uber, radio hosts are talking about how inaccurate ChatGPT citations are based on a study they then go on to say, “according to ChatGPT, X% of AI-generated information is false. We have to use our own brains!” what

OpenWorkflow v0.3 just went live with workflow versioning, cancelation, and expanded+type safe sleep durations (thanks @andreisurugiu_!) side note: I have *a ton* to learn about maintaining a growing OSS project. Who do you think does a great job here that I should talk to?

no matter how much I try to vibe code something for the backend, it's always bad frontend, though? much, much better am I missing something or is this the general sentiment?

Never bet against someone who treats every setback as training. They’re impossible to beat.
