You raised Mohamed Siraj's hopes and dashed them quite expertly, Ben. Bravo!.

If the laws governing your game allow for the fudges by Red Bull and CFG but not for the scenario Palace and Lyon find themselves in, you really should let this one slide and reassess your regulations.

Chelsea's recruitment blueprint is acquiring young stars who can deliver for them over several years. In Noni Madueke they fulfilled that?. So why would they let him go when he is on such an impressive trajectory?

Arsenal have signed Martin Zubimendi. “This is a huge moment in my career," says Zubimendi. "It's the move I was looking for and one I wanted to make. As soon as you set foot here, you realise how big this club and this team are.".

If I were Arsenal I'm not sure I'd pay £50m at this stage of the market, not least given it makes sense to wait and see if Chelsea are unable to do business elsewhere and are backed into a corner. There are better options too, for sure. I wouldn't object to Madueke though.

A lot of the fan skepticism around Arsenal's interest in Madueke seems to be informed by nothing more than previous poor signings from Chelsea. As a fairly low touch 2nd/3rd option he got loads of shots and dribbles the ball well. I can see why you'd charge £50m for that.
