In Ireland, it costs about €30k just to house a refugee. Add the allowance they receive (around €2k per year) and the legal fees for processing their application, and you are probably looking at something close to €35k a year. May also be the case in the rest of Europe.

Refugees are extremely costly. With annual costs of €15,000-€22,000 per person, the bill becomes enormous when multiplied by the vast numbers taken in by European countries. I would even say these estimates are on the low end of the scale.
