I post on LI about getting cancer and it blows up. I post about the thing that's actually hard which is my startup and it's crickets

Tough proposition to integrate this tool when it's asking for the ability to "permanently delete all my email"

So is 2025 finally the year of mobile?
2025 has been the biggest year for new mobile apps in the last eight years...reversing a decade-long decline👇 IMO, there's two huge drivers here: (1) Vibe coding has made apps easier to build (2) With AI, there is more to build (+ more to make money on)

The cold outreach is challenging to cut through the noise but this approach is guaranteed to not work: "Hey James - I’m [name here], happy to be connected. Could I ask you for a small favor?"

We've seen this coming for a while now but now it's official. Google's AI powered search results signals such a paradigm shift for how the open internet has worked for decades. Buckle up.
(1/2) Today we’re starting to test a new way to seamlessly go deeper in AI Mode directly from the Search results page on mobile, globally. This brings us closer to our vision for Search: just ask whatever’s on your mind – no matter how long or complex – and find exactly what you

The backstory to Fanta is wild
From 1888: This is first-ever manufacturer's coupon, redeemable at a retailer. It was the Coca-Cola first genius distribution insight. Since their product was addictive (4x the caffeine of today's Coke... plus literal cocaine), they had a playbook where they'd ask each soda

Interesting coming across this nearly 8 years later. Still dealing with a lot of the same problems (transparency, effecient ecosystem... ie hops in the supy chain). And there are more DSPs (buying platforms) now than there were 8 years ago.

ElevenLabs' founder Mati Staniszewski said that, in the short term, AI audio models were still the "biggest advantage and the biggest step change you can have today."

@AdbridgeAI We still place lots of value listening to human thought and conversation. The top podcasts today are mostly conversational. The emphasis should be on how AI and voice AI can work FOR podcasters and content creators, not against them. That's what we're doing at @AdbridgeAI.

@AdbridgeAI In the meantime, we're not at the point of indistinguishability, and yet, podcasters are often feeling threatened by voice AI, that it will replace them and their craft. Though I don't think this will come to pass. 3/

@AdbridgeAI With the reduced cost, voice AI will be used ubiquitously for content generation and interaction with software / hardware (personal devices, tellers, shopping, ordering, support, etc). It already is seeing a boom in deployments across industries. 2/

We're leaning into Voice AI heavily at @AdbridgeAI but this technology will reach a singularity. There won’t be a discernible difference between human and synthetic voice. To the point of Elevenlabs CEO, it will be commoditized resulting in a big drop in token cost eventually 1/

Why can gmail predict what I want to say (or continue incorrectly guessing) but can't auto-correct the obvious words I've misspelled?

And yet another move in quick succession on this trend with Spotify relaunching it's Apple TV app enabling podcast viewing on the big screen. Link to Verge reporting below
HBO Max is joining Netflix in the trend to start streaming podcast content on their platform. It's an interesting development for the podcast industry driven by a marriage of convenience (streamers get low production cost content) where creators get new distribution & audience 1/

Naturally I expect we'll see more of these deals with streaming platforms which is good for podcasting (more $$, more reach). Notably the Netflix deal terms exclude distribution onto YT so tees up yet another arena to battle in the streaming wars for attention.

NYT reported that audiences aren't sitting down for a movie like experience 🍿 but rather watch-listening while doing other household things so the audience and behavior is there, likely to grow. 2/

Just saw some haterade being poured onto AdCP on LI. It will forever confound me when people naysay early or v1 products. I'd imagine people who have never actually launched anything are those more prone to throwing stones.
