i have no words. i am embarrassed and ashamed, this woman deserves so much more than OU can offer her anymore anyway. someone get this administration faculty out of here, we don’t want them anymore.
It’s with the heaviest heart that, with Professor Collins’ permission, I inform you all that her appeal to stay at OU was officially denied by Nellis and a Faculty Senate committee. Her last day teaching is August 15th. What an odious administration we have.

i preached it when OU announced her non-renewal last year and i’ll preach it again- Becca is hands down one of the best professors i’ve ever had and OU is a JOKE for cutting the staff that they’re cutting. what an embarrassment. how can you do this to someone who has poured so
Professor Becca Collins (Sociology-Criminology) wanted us to share her goodbye letter on this platform in hopes that it will reach all of her students out there. Professor Collins, you will be sorely missed, and we only wish we could have done more.
