The member of staff then offered complementary drinks to the people who moved over for me to sit next to them, but was unwilling to even acknowledge the language used against me. ‘I don’t know what he said and I don’t want to’ is word for word what he told me.

and told me I was ‘escalating the situation’ and swore at me when I told him I didn’t understand his perspective. To be clear, I didn’t raise my voice. If you know me you know I’m not ‘that guy’. I had to move my seat whilst this homophobe kept his.
