A HUGE thank you goes out to our event management staff and sports information crew for hosting eight Cattle Classic basketball games and three GPAC tournament games over two days. Their efforts made it a first class experience! Thanks also to all who attended and supported us!

An investigation has been launched into the disappearance of a Casey's breakfast 🍕 from the athletic dept fridge. This 🍕 was intended for the hard working SID crew but was callously devoured by an unknown perpetrator. This breakfast 🍕 bandit must be found & held responsible.

This is well said. Polls and rankings add context. They aren't going away. Most fans probably remember back to a time when their team upset # (fill in the blank). Without rankings, all you can say is that we just beat a (good) team.
They're good for conversation. They have no real impact on anything (as evidenced by the fact that they're out of the rankings in early October). They're fine. I don't know why we've suddenly decided this is a scourge and a major issue this year.

Have this beauty of the 1931 @CUNEFootball team framed in my office. Went 7-0 and outscored opponents 206-19. Bernard Arkebauer scored 19 TDs (in 7 games!) in '31. Still stands as a school record.
