Excited that this paper is out! @p_fomby and I describe nonresident parent wealth among children in the US using the @umpsid. We show that children likely have access to this wealth, and that it matters for their educational attainment in young adulthood.

My main finding is that transitions into MPF are not associated with increases in psychological distress, even though MPF parents have higher levels of psychological distress than parents with children by the same partner.

Elated to share that my paper with @RinReczek and R Spiker is now out at Demography! We use Gallup data to examine how sexual and gender minorities fare across a range of well-being outcomes (e.g., physical and mental health, financial well-being).
