I've worked incredibly hard on this and I'm so happy it's finally published! Finding signs of extraterrestrial life on ocean worlds will require complex, advanced instruments, and onboard science autonomy can help make that happen:

Disappointed that it's still more work to babysit FSD than it is to just drive - tonight it turned left, ended up between two lanes, and crawled to a stop? It also can't merge in challenging situations like the 8th St. exit on 405 South. Works fine on long stretches of highway.

Just finished the last day of SUDS 2024! We spent 9 months organizing this conference and I'm ecstatic that it went so smoothly. Hoping for even bigger and greater things in the future 🎉

Yes, you read that right. Dark mode is (finally!) here. One of the most requested features, dark mode improves accessibility and reduces eye strain for readers and volunteer editors across Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. While creating dark mode may seem simple, it

Got my @rabbit_hmi R1 today and immediately got stuck in the settings because I couldn't get out 🙃 you have to shake to get in, but you have to scroll to the section title that turns into a back button to get out???

...we still went down to the wire finishing the robot, and the only practice our drive team got was on Thursday night 😅 We still made every match and scored consistently, and the students learned a lot and had fun, so that's what counts!

Forgot to share that we competed in the @FRCTeams Aerospace Valley Regional a couple weeks ago! This was my second season coaching 2404, and it continues to be an incredibly rewarding experience working with such talented and passionate students 🤖🤖🤖

I did a project on DesertXpress for the @firstlegoleague 2009 "Smart Move" challenge in middle school, I even went to an event they held at @unlv. Who knew it would be 2024 until the project finally broke ground!
Brightline West broke ground today on what's being touted as America's first true high-speed rail line with speeds that will top out at 186mph. The trip between Los Angeles and Las Vegas will take just over 2-hours, half of the 4-hour drive time today.

The NeurIPS high school track has made its way to Chinese social media. The collaborator who sent me this said there is at least one example of a professor asking their PhD student to help write a paper for one of their kids so that it can help their college admissions abroad.

What an awful week... I wasn't expecting layoffs at JPL compared to "industry," I didn't think it would be possible to layoff so many uniquely smart and talented people. Grateful I'm still here, dazed by the coworkers and collaborators we lost.
