I am feeling so full of hope being at @UlsterUni’s celebration at the beautiful Academy Restaurant to celebrate young people who completed the developmental trauma course. It was a joy to be part of this with incredible colleagues from @AdoptionUK, @VOYPIC & @actnforchildren 🥳

#FoundationsForTheFuture conference panel has reps from @healthdpt, @Education_NI, @HSC_NI, @BolsterCom & @Y_J_Agency . Discussing including children & young people in services & decisions, the vital community & voluntary sector & rolling out best practice across the region.

Commissioner @ChrisNICCY wonders how much of a priority children & young people are for the NI government. He “is behind the aims of Minister @mikenesbittni & calls upon his Executive colleagues to get behind him”. He wants to see child rights upheld in NI law.
