Thinking that channel 4 is gonna just spend an hour listening to analysis of Taylor’s lyrics is like losing a game of chess to a dog btw.
Last year I had an interview with Channel 4 about a Taylor docu - I told them how I connect to her lyrics and her writing means a lot to me and they told me they were only interested in how much money I had spent on merch and tickets. When it wasn’t a lot they seemed unimpressed.

“Fifteen years ago” who was in power during that time? Who slashed the welfare and transport budget? Who flooded the city with private equity? Nothing but dog whistle shite from a pound shop Del Boy who doesn’t know the history of London !.
I love this country. I love London with everything I’ve got. It’s the greatest city on Earth or at least, it used to be. And I’ll tell you this now: anyone who says London is safer today than it was ten, fifteen years ago is lying through their teeth. I’ve worked these streets

Learn how your parliament works and engage with it! If ur analysis stops at “all politicians are evil” nothing will get done and decisions will be made without you !.

This is such a stupid argument lol, there’s a million things happening in parliament around debates!! Committee hearings, casework, constituent work!! Just because they’re not in the debate chamber 24/7 doesn’t mean work isn’t being done!.
Fucking disgraceful how empty our parliament is 90% of the time and they have the gall to act like it's us plebs that are workshy.
