🏀 Denison Basketball welcomes first-year, Jack Vegter. Jack is a 6’5 wing from Lincoln Way Central HS in New Lenox , IL & averaged 18 ppg & 5.2 rpg in his senior season. Jack was selected first team All-Conference, Honorable Mention All-Area, and Special Mention All-State.

Fluidity or “shiftiness” with the ball can be taught. Athletes who are great movers generally are able to be creative with angles and positions handling the ball. @byanymeansbball has this down to a science and I’ve been enjoying learning and applying the lessons 🏀

Been a pleasure having sharp shooter Jack in the gym kid shows up everyday willing to get outside his comfort zone! Jack had a great senior year and was All-State in Illinois. 🏀 Next year starts a new chapter at @DenisonHoops but no worries they landed a worker for sure.

Great career recently wrapped up by @jack_vegter. The incoming @DenisonHoops guard is a sniper from deep. One of the premier guards in the competitive SWSC conference, Vegter sustained great play while being the center of opposing scouting reports. Expect to hear more of him.
