@jackCICHY @BraelonAllen You’re a former player, lift the program up. You had a thread criticizing the team and the coaching staff and a half assed follow up about “keep on fighting”. The team has had a huge turnaround these last 3 games, and nothing.

I can’t speak to what didn’t happen and I don’t necessarily think that’s true , . there is still a lot of football left this season. Win the next one. Build momentum. 2-2 with losses to #1 and a top 15 team. Boys just gotta keep fighting.
@jackCICHY Fantastic post, Jack. I believe with JL they’d be a top 4-5 B10 team. With Fick, we aimed higher, and it appears we missed. Q is, what next, bc i don’t see this season magically turning around.

Lastly… the portal is not good!.A program will not gain an identity bringing in people for one year at a time. Also, I know it’s tough to wrap your mind around but these kids are in the portal for a reason. Usually an emotional decision and rarely is it a rational reason.

NIL is a joke, .NCAA, conference and school rake in money hand over fist…. instead of profit sharing, make our fans donate their money to kids so they can buy new Jordan 1s!!¡ .but the new “collective” - you mean a free way to subsidize payment while ur margins don’t get touched.

when you have a defense that creates NFL talent (Aranda/Wilcox/Leonhard) that can keep you in any game then you make sure that stays.You will never convince me that it was better to bring in some bastardized 3-3-5 to the big ten and expect to be anything other than a sieve.
