I like Monero, this is the one thing that holds me back. They would have nearly nailed it had they not front loaded the emission schedule. Grin on the other hand is lightweight minimalist with no halvings. 🥰

This seems like either https://t.co/n2hg7y7pGU pool is possibly stealing blocks from the pool miners and awarding them to "solo" miners (themselves) somehow, or maybe there is some exploit in Firo diff retargeting algo and someone exploiting with rented hash or something.

The weird part to me though is the second place pool https://t.co/n2hg7y7pGU. They offer solo and pool mode, and their solo miners are incredibly lucky over the last ten blocks found. In fact they found consecutive blocks with 6% and 1% effort, then another 1% effort soon after.
