I don't understand TikTok, man. Am I getting old? 90% of the ones I've seen are just some hot girl lip syncing. I mean I get it... but I don't. Is this really the competition?

What is the modern day equivalent of getting on a boat and heading off into the unknown to discover new lands? Is there one? Whatever it is, I want to do it.

I either want full electric with insane torque or a gas guzzling 5.0L V8. No in-between. Get outta here with this hybrid garbage.

I've changed my mind on something. I've gone full boomer Dave Ramsey mode... If your cash flow is high, I think you should pay off your home as fast as possible. The resulting peace of mind from only having to cover day-to-day expenses is priceless. You're able to take more

I've seen several posts about WFH and how women supposedly respond to it the last few days. How much does your wife hate you (or you hate her) if that's a strain on your relationship? More convinced then ever that many people live in some made-up red-pill all-women-are-bad type

Everyone loves to hate on LinkedIn but I found all 4 of my W-2 software positions there via cold outreach, knew no one at any of the companies. Sure, a lot of the posts are cringe, but where else can you find the CEO/CTO/hiring manager of any company on earth and DM them

One (big) reason to pay off your house and any debt ASAP, regardless of what the market enjoyooooors say. Life is EZ mode when you only have to cover day-to-day living expenses.
There's a surprising pattern of people who were 14-18 years old when their dads lost their job, causing the family finances to disintegrate -- lost house, divorce, etc -- & the family never recovered The most surprising part is the narrow age range that this seems to happen

In my 33 years of life, I can think of 2 decisions that fundamentally altered the course of my life. The first one, I was in Spain. I'd arrived a month early to travel around a bit before starting a Masters in Linguistics. I'd been in Seattle the last 1.5 years and gotten the

The garage door being the focal point of the home is the worst trend in home building. I never want to see a garage door.

This is hustle p*rn at its finest. “$1M net worth rarely changes anything” “$25M liquid, You can cover friends’ flights to make trips happen… Staff for convenience (nanny, cleaners)” “50M liquid, 2nd homes, extended travel” If $1M changes nothing for you and you can’t do any
What’s the difference between a $10m, $100m, and $1b lifestyle? Asked this question in Hampton's Slack community since we have people worth $10m - $2b. A few takeaways from the 50+ replies: $50k – $100k liquid • The first “I feel rich” for many in 20s. • Bills stop
