there's a very weird distinction between harry potter fans and JK Rowling fans. it's kinda like if there was a contingent of Lovecraft fans who were all "oh I've never read him, I just like that he's a popular racist"

@bitterkarella at least with Lovecraft, if you ignore his particular political predilections, his work is still kind of good

@isaac_evilman @rpgfromthestars @frog_mom_evelyn @bleckerer @bitterkarella He became more sympathetic to left wing ideology (great depression) but still despised blacks and aboriginals as subhuman. only became slightly more forgiving to non-'negroid' people blaming culture rather than biology. He really only learned to tamper it down around colleagues.
