as i’ve always tried to explain, 4 foreign players need to leave, unless we want to leave some foreign players out of the squad in the UCL. current state of the club in terms of contracts is horrible. you have bernardo at 300k a week, gundogan not far behind, akanji at 200k.

not even comparable. rodri started 29 in the league in his first season, 3 more than fernandinho. rodri played 400 minutes more in all comps. 2nd & 3rd season stats don’t even need to be looked at. nico has 9 starts in like 20 games with *0* competition.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Rodri began his City career as backup for Fernandinho. Didn’t get much game time at first, but slowly started to get more minutes over some time. Then he started making the lineups before eventually referring Ferna to the bench.
