This is why I don’t unfollow or block anyone that has critique for her; I like to hear perspectives from people who don’t like her (some of them anyway), and people who listen to her but in a more neutral sense. Listening to only fellow fans creates an dangerous echo chamber

Art is met to be critiqued and interpreted. I’d wait for the official release to avoid a fake. But you’re an equal opportunity “hater” I mean you got on here & bravely said there were several skips on cowboy carter. You give your objective opinion, some people can’t handle that.

As someone who writes fic, I can't imagine thinking that loving something/someone as a fan means you don't get to criticize, question, or play with the idea. For a lot of people, fandom means there's room to question.
