Observation. We have a rescue dog - had 1 month - amazing pet & doing well considering. My first dog since I was 18 (now 54). Cleaning up Poo was an initial stress (horrible!), but now routine. So why do other owners let their dogs crap everywhere & not clean up?!

Since getting a family dog this month (not had a dog since I was a kid), my step rate (recent months) has gone from naff all to 15,000+ day. I have no choice either! Feel better for it too.

Learning point. Have had Hermann (rescue dog from Hungary) for 3 weeks. Love him to bits - & we are working through his challenges (at under 2 yrs old he has had a terrible start to life). So tonight I cooked lamb chops & he freaked! Some dogs hate the smell of cooked lamb!?
