- s rank does not mean full combo
- ez makes the game harder
- dt is 1.5 not 2 / ht is .75 not .5
- pp value for a map is not pp gain on profile
- beatmap rating is not star rating

Too many new players have grown up with jump only maps because bursts and other skillsets are basically worth nothing at that stage
Maybe this is actually a pp system issue because people are kinda programmed into not liking other maps / genres at an early stage?

the thing that is wrong with this is that it’s extremely uncomfortable to play, this guy is becoming the new “stream farm mapper” and his maps are very uncomfortable for most people because of these sharp angles

The change in spinners that peppy pushed has ruined the way spin players enjoy the game. After providing feedback through countless methods, we have not gotten any response from peppy, despite him stating multiple times to reach out about how we feel about said changes.

These are the exact same notes in a map, the only difference is HR. I've been blaming mappers for random perfect stacks for so long but you're telling me HR just does that? Is that intentional? Wtf?

pro tip: if you truly care about the way the game and the mapping ecosystem works, get involved, make maps, or participate in real discussion (on the osu forums) otherwise, you can keep shouting into the void but you're essentially just a bystander and nothing will change

kinda disappointed about this, the vast majority of the guest diffs i got for unwelcome school were not at the quality that i would like to push. i've made the tough decision of dropping all the guest diffs and remapping the set as a solo set instead. (1/2)
