Third, we added a button to modify vibrato depth range, similar to the control that appears when using pitch bend. We made both of these buttons more visible.

Second, we added a button to rescan audio devices. Previously, it was necessary to close and re-open imitone if a new mic or audio interface was plugged in. Rescanning will briefly interrupt imitone's voice processing.

First, you can now save and load imitone's settings with Ctrl-S and Ctrl-O. Both manual save and auto-save now support multi-voice setups, and will detect whether your audio interface is still connected.

If, like most of us, you don't know much about MIDI, the good news is that MIDI 2.0 is fundamentally aimed at automation — imitone and other tools will use it to communicate and adapt to one another, so everything "just works". Fewer settings, fewer numbers, less confusion.

We plan on doing a lot more with MIDI 2.0 in the future, but it's a bleeding-edge technology. Only a few other products have adopted it — such as @Apple Mac OS 11. Expect to see many other products debuting MIDI 2.0 support next year.
