Dating these days has become a game, and when you play a game there are either winners or losers. There are plenty more losers than winners at the game of dating when the apps are financially incentivised to keep you coming back for more.

the internet shows the truth and people are in shock because it was easier to lie to yourself and hide the truth when the internet wasnt a thing.

Never drive angry. The road is not a place for your temper tantrums.

Knock, knock... Who's there? It's Jesus, let me in. Why? I have to save you. From what? From what I'm gonna do to you if you don't let me in. π€βΊοΈ

Belief itself isnβt a choice; itβs a response to what seems true to you. But once a belief becomes part of your worldview, people do exert control over what they expose themselves to and how they interpret it, which is why changing minds becomes psychologically difficult.

@innocitto And it is their choice to accept or not. In Christianity, we believe if you donβt accept Christ, you are going to hell. So passing down the same doctrine when they have the right to discard it as an adult is not enforcing, it just normal breeding. We inculcate morals by religion

@innocitto If a lifestyle works for people, they pass it down to their wards for survival. A lot of sportsmen, if not all pass down their careers to their children. It is now left to the ward to accept it as an adult or not Same with religion. When the wards grow up they can decide

That's the meaning of impose. You can go with them to church everyday of the week. Don't start telling your toddler/child/teenager/young adult that they will be punished forever for not accepting your faith of which the actual parameters you don't know yourself.
@innocitto So if Iβm going to church with my wife on sunday, I should leave my toddler at home to be watching ball alone? You guys just tweet anything

It needs to be against the law to impose a religion on children.

The longer you spend in tech, the stronger the urge to buy a farm and never touch a computer in your life again.

I fear the biggest casualty of the new way we do things is a further loss of human to human interactions. There is already an addictive nature of cell phones, and how they discourage personal contact. I fear the social distancing philosophy will only make that worse.
