Colbath’s Golden Spotlight of the Week goes to Alfred ⭐️This kiddo really stood out to me. From wanting to be at his little sister’s dance in place of her father to having all of his learning targets for my class, this kiddo rocked the week and impressed me with his big heart!

Colbath’s Golden Spotlight of the Week goes to Joaquin!⭐️Yesterday, I noticed this excellent student taking his MAP test VERY seriously. I was sure he would take a nap once done. He surprised me when he finished and immediately asked, “Mrs. Can I read my book?” What a champ!! 👏

One of the things that makes our school so special 💛💚 Today, our own mariachi students @jgachupinnisd serenaded me with Las Mañanitas for my birthday. Not many schools have traditions like this, so I’m so grateful to be part of such a beautiful community. 💐 Thank you Sul Ross!

Goodbye Middle School 🥹 I had my 8th graders write and present a letter “breaking up” with middle school 💔😅 It was amazing to see some students embark on their own creative initiatives! Loved this one 💛💚 Will miss my kiddos! @NISDRoss
