But the quality of Shankaracharya has decreased over time. Puri Shankaracharya is the foremost example.

I did not ask for a blanket approval of any individual Shankaracharya's political opinions or acts. I am lamenting the loss of common decency in addressing Dharmacharyas in public regardless of whether we agree with them or not on specific issues.

I think without Shankaracharyas freedom of India was impossible. Sarkari Hindus & Muslim league at best partitioned our nation and displaced billions and made them refugee in their own land.
