@infinitchy Ashish, if and when you ever publish the book, please consider replacing “caste” with “jāti”. The word “caste” is very loaded and has too much unnecessary baggage that goes beyond India.

@vakibs I think the concern is a bit overstated. Caste may have a lot of baggage, but so does religion, nation, gender, tradition and everything else that carries a definite meaning. I want anything I write to help the reader in sensemaking, baggage be damned.
