*Intercaste marriage and bestiality* Someone recently came up with the novel idea that the Indian state must incentivise intercaste marriages, the more distant the cultures the higher the reward. The goal of this advanced mathematical formulation was to treat the “cultural and…

@infinitchy To answer your final question ignoring all the gibberish :- With whomever you can CONCEIVE NATURALLY, you can marry him/her. A cat can't conceive with humans nor an elephant. A trans-person can't procreate nor the same sex. NATURE has already drawn the line. So, chill.

@infinitchy Just to add here. The discussion started on the wrong foot. Most states, already have laws to promote inter-caste marriages. Couples are paid money if their marriage is inter caste in many states.

@srajwadi I know about intercaste marriage incentives at the state level. What was novel about the idea was the pan India prescription and mathematical formulation.

@infinitchy Being a strong advocate of state intervention to promote national harmony through marital harmony, I would suggest a novel approach towards pop. control; incentivize same sex unions. Will also get us in good standing in the coveted & very important parameter .....world opinion

@infinitchy Different species CANNOT breed genius, so that simple fact of biology negates your slippery slope fallacy. Intercaste marriages usually only happen between people of the same social circle, which entirely negates your premise.

@dar_shak Sir, the post mentions technology making biology irrelevant. Perhaps you did not get that basic point. Now that I have mentioned it separately for you, maybe you can read the post again and come back to call me names.

@infinitchy Very well articulated Ashish Dharji. Yes, the progression of liberality is exactly what Pujyapad Puri Shankaracharyaji was referring to. Unfortunately, this was twisted or misunderstood by some. You have elaborated on the topic very well in this piece. Request all to read,…

@infinitchy very well articulated. a complex issue presented with a balanced perspecive.. yes intercaste marriage is ok for various reasons one being castes themselves are being defined as per poltical machinations but it is also important to recognise the role of lineage based identities

@infinitchy many people in west clueless confused about their identity not just physical but thier entire existence. we have a rich body of texts / systems for functioning of our society like varna which served well untill british insitutionalized birth based rigid caste system of today

Ofcourse, T.A.P.P.P.R.I strikes. Tomorrow the same bunch will justify a similar policy for pasmanda M and UC Hindus to prove SJ creds. Going by their perverted logic, the most rewarded union, say in Maharashtra will be between a Upper Caste Maratha Girl & Dharavi dwelling Miya.

@infinitchy The end goal of erasing caste identities is built on the great farce of caste = casteism. Wont address outliers, throughout history the norm was harmony, with all sanskara-s intact. People who push for such 'incentives' read one phase of history and conveniently ignore the other.

@infinitchy So many words to say that he doesn’t approve of the women of his caste marrying outside/‘below’, something that most of us already know. The argument seems weak because the west doesn’t have caste and they’ve avoided marrying animals by and large.

@infinitchy The underlying issue is the the non-comprehension of the fallacies of State's interference in personal (whether religious or economic), by the so-called neo-right. They can trump Ayn Rand in libertarian principles & advocate for state's role in promoting ICM in a single breath.
