Second place against the team that made one of the best runs in Eurocup history. I wish my country underperformed like that 😄
England were ahead for 16 minutes of normal time in the last six games of the tournament. In the knock out rounds? 1 second. They’ve massively underperformed for a team with that level of talent. That’s on the manager & his tactics.

15. Nutpicking: Online political debate mainly involves cherry-picking the most outlandish members of the enemy side and presenting them as indicative in order to make the entire side look crazy. The culture war is essentially just each side sneering at the other side's lunatics.

Tomorrow it will be the end of a cycling era, ours. One of the cyclists that influenced, inspired, divided and thrilled the most. The one that daily remininded that you don't have to be that serious: commit, work hard, sweat, but remember to enjoy the journey. Thank you, Peter ❤️

I was reading a lot of drama about #LaVuelta2023 yesterday. And afterwards I realized that I’m not sure if JV meant Jumbo-Visma or Jonás Vingegaard in some tweets. Imagine @JumboVismaRoad signed Jay Vine as a rider plus Jonathan Vaughters and Jens Voigt as sport directors 😁

Too excited indeed. I did a couple of flat time trials with avg. speeds around 44 kph pushing only 260-270w. My weight was 62-63 kg at that time. I think for 59 kilos CdA can easily be around 0.2

It’s amazing how much faster you can get when you stop trying to run fast all the time.

Belarus just won the 2023 Aus Open women's final. Aryna Sabalenka became a Grand Slam champion for the first time. But they're HIDING her flag. Because somehow Putin is her fault. So I'm tweeting it. 🇧🇾🇧🇾🇧🇾🇧🇾 She deserves the same respect as every other player. Agree? RT!

For me it was endurance training indeed! Z2 sucks when you’re aerobically weak and crawl slowly at right intensity. But years after when you can climb staying in the zone or cruise at speeds well over 30 kph it’s becoming very fun!
5. The stuff that sucks often gets fun once you are fit enough to enjoy it. Take interval training. Research shows that your enjoyment increases as you make progress. Give yourself time to get fit enough to enjoy the work. https://t.co/Od51GXB1aV
