Had a great #authorvisit to #Huddersfield with The 'Longest Strongest Thread', in Collab with @KirkleesLibrary, LS2Y and @WovenInKirklees. Children of @Stpatricks100 & @OLOL_School1 created amazing artwork that will be featured in Woven Festival in June 🪡.@Scallywagpress

Year 3 have been inspired by the illustrator Inbal Leitner and used paints, collage and drawing materials. They created images to represent the poem ‘Growing up’ by Harry Behn. Some fantastic tigers hiding 🐯🪨🧺

Year 3’s ‘Art Day’ involved a study of the artists Inbal Leitner and Rosie Hurley. They then listened to a poem by Harry Behn about a forest with tigers hiding in it, before using the inspiration of the artists to create their own forest scenes, complete with tigers.🎨🖌️
