Yesterday, Uber told its UK drivers that they would now be classified as (Limb B) workers, who unlike self-employed contractors, are eligible for minimum wages, holiday pay, pension, etc. This is a win, but falls far short of what the recent SC judgement asked Uber to do. 1/

@katerav @AndyDAgorne @pedalmeapp Difficult to achieve in a City that regards cycling as a crime against the state! A walk around the City centre will reveal a dozen or more vans allowed unhindered because they're 'important'. Meanwhile cycle couriers must dismount or be prosecuted!
