This is sad news and a moment to pay tribute to probably the most influential promoter in British motorsport and certainly Brands Hatch. Whilst more widely known for his 4 wheel events and championships, on his watch was the original Transatlantic match races, the F750 World
The team at MotorSport Vision (MSV) is saddened to learn that John Webb, who oversaw Brands Hatch’s era as the home of British and European Grands Prix throughout the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, has died in Spain at the age of 92. Jonathan Palmer pays tribute: https://t.co/xzemRW7ZRF
